Looks like a splendid idea, perhaps adaptable to other root vegetables, such as celeriac, but with different seasonings. I should think a greased parchment paper collar would address the potential for the sides sticking.

I too would like to know if this can be prepared in advance, or even frozen?
How far in advance do you think this could be made? I'd love to try it but will use a vegan butter
